DecoverAI expands its Legal Intelligence Platform to transactional work.

SAN MATEO, Calif., October 13, 2026 — DecoverAI today announced that its platform now serves transactional lawyers as well as litigators. Firms and in-house teams can review contracts from their side of the deal inside Microsoft Word and apply bulk document classification to data-room due diligence, under the same matter-level permissions, audit logging, and security controls they use for litigation.

DecoverAI began in eDiscovery, where AI review has to hold up when the other side is looking for every mistake. Customers have used it to analyze contract clauses across hundreds of agreements in a five-week jury trial that ended in a $15.4M verdict, and to process more than a million documents in a $35M healthcare fraud matter. The transactional release applies that same review discipline to deals.

What’s new

• Contract review in Word. Choose the party you represent, or neither for a balanced review, and add deal-specific instructions. DecoverAI returns findings ranked by severity, quotes the clause each one is about, and flags requested language that is not present.
• Redlines in the lawyer’s name. Suggested fixes can be edited before they are inserted, and go in as ordinary Word tracked changes authored by the signed-in user. Nothing is changed without the lawyer’s action.
• Data-room due diligence. Bulk classification organizes a data-room review around the deal’s questions. Attorneys inspect the reasoning and source documents, override calls, and carry the agreements that need negotiation into Word.
